Position Summary


We are seeking a results-driven and experienced *Business Development Executive* to join our growth team. This role involves identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and expanding Astin Consultancy’s footprint in both India and the UAE markets. The ideal candidate will be proactive, target-oriented, and capable of managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.


Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets across India and UAE markets.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
  • Analyze business performance metrics and propose actionable insights for revenue acceleration.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
  • Source and qualify leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Proactively follow up with prospects and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct needs assessment calls, presentations, and solution discussions with clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Proposal Development & Deal Closure
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms while aligning client expectations with organizational goals.
  • Close deals, secure contracts, and ensure a seamless transition to delivery teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and service excellence.
  • Share market feedback and contribute to product/service enhancements.
  • Reporting & Administration
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasts
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications and contract details.
  • Attend internal meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • Required:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • 1+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition—preferably in consultancy, professional services, or B2B environments.
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders across India & UAE.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve targets under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Preferred
  • Experience working with clients in India and/or Middle East markets.
  • Understanding of cross-cultural business practices and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with digital sales and lead generation tools.
