About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and energetic Inside Sales Engineer to join our Dubai office. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals in Instrumentation Engineering who are looking to build a strong foundation in technical sales, customer coordination, and business support. The Inside Sales Engineer will work closely with outside sales teams, manage customer inquiries, prepare technical and commercial proposals, coordinate with suppliers and internal departments, and ensure seamless order processing. This role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations in alignment with pricing policies and customer specifications.
- Support Outside Sales Engineers with client follow-ups, documentation, and coordination activities.
- Maintain and update customer accounts, pricing details, quotations, and order history in ERP/CRM systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth order execution.
- Assist in developing competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitable margins.
- Track offers, quotations, contracts, and ensure timely submissions to clients.
- Maintain strong communication channels to support customer retention and after sales service.
- Provide administrative and technical support for marketing and business development initiatives.
- Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights to management for strategic decisions.
- Continuously update technical knowledge on products such as valves, hydraulics, and instrumentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering (mandatory).
- 0–2 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, or sales coordination (freshers encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of valves, hydraulics, or instrumentation systems is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and prepare precise technical proposals.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP/CRM software is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE.
