Role Description
The FPE Hydraulic Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, andrepair of hydraulic systems and components used in Marine, power packs, and fluid power applications.
GAMAC test to be done is mandatory if candidate is in India as per candidate cost.Visa + Insurance will be provided by companyKey Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain hydraulic systems and circuits.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, P&ID drawings, and manuals.
- Troubleshoot issues related to pressure loss, overheating, leakage, and systeminefficiency
- Service and replace hydraulic Winches, Cranes, pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, andfittings.
- Perform hydraulic oil filtration, flushing, Pressure testing and contamination control.
- Carry out pressure testing and performance checks.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of hydraulic power packs.
- Identify root causes of hydraulic failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and spares inventory.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe work practices.
- Prepare basic service reports and maintenance records.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience.
- Knowledge in hydraulic systems maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, symbols, and components.
- Basic communication skills in English and Hindi.
Physical & Work Conditions
- Site-based role involving manual work.
- Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime or shifts when required.
