Role Description

The FPE Hydraulic Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, andrepair of hydraulic systems and components used in Marine, power packs, and fluid power applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain hydraulic systems and circuits.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, P&ID drawings, and manuals.
• Troubleshoot issues related to pressure loss, overheating, leakage, and systeminefficiency
• Service and replace hydraulic Winches, Cranes, pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, andfittings.
• Perform hydraulic oil filtration, flushing, Pressure testing and contamination control.
• Carry out pressure testing and performance checks.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of hydraulic power packs.
• Identify root causes of hydraulic failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and spares inventory.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe work practices.
• Prepare basic service reports and maintenance records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience.
• Knowledge in hydraulic systems maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, symbols, and components.
• Basic communication skills in English and Hindi.

Physical & Work Conditions

• Site-based role involving manual work.
• Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime or shifts when required.
