Job Overview

We are building a high-performance FinTech backend platform and are expanding our core product engineering team in Kochi. We are looking for passionate backend engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems and thrive in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python and FastAPI, a solid product engineering mindset, and exposure to modern cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Build high-performance APIs and backend components for a FinTech-grade platform.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Redis for data storage, caching, and performance optimization.
• Implement secure, reliable, and scalable services aligned with Zero Trust security principles.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based services using AWS.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to building and improving microservices-based architectures.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI.
• Proven experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based deployments.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles and secure system design.
• Solid product engineering mindset with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-style execution environment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have (Good to Have Skills)

• Experience with Orkes / Temporal workflows.
• Exposure to asynchronous programming patterns in Python.
• Experience designing and working with microservices architectures.
• Prior experience in FinTech or financial systems.
