Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automated test scripts, ensuring product quality across web and mobile applications, and collaborating closely with development teams.
The candidate should be capable of working independently on assigned modules, managing test execution, and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes. Experience working with ERP product-based applications, particularly within the education domain, will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications while maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and mobile application testing across Android and/or iOS platforms to ensure consistent application quality.

• Conduct manual testing for features or modules where automation is not feasible and ensure adequate test coverage for critical functionalities.

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate backend data using SQL queries to ensure system accuracy and data integrity.

• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools while ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation of issues.

• Prepare and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test reports to support quality assurance processes and project documentation.

• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product teams to analyze issues, improve product quality, and meet project timelines across multiple assignments.

• Follow established QA processes, participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or
  similar frameworks.
• Experience in web and mobile application testing.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
• Experience in API testing (Postman / REST APIs).
• Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Preferred / Added Advantages

• Experience working on ERP product-based applications.
• Exposure to education domain systems such as ERP, CRM, LMS, or Student
  Management Systems.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Exposure to performance testing or security testing.
