Position Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Area Manager / Unit Manager to drive sales through the agency channel. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in direct sourcing and agency sales, with a proven track record of achieving targets and earning incentives. This role involves managing agents, driving business growth, and ensuring consistent performance across assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and manage insurance agents / advisors under the agency channel
• Drive sales through direct sourcing and agent networks
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets
• Monitor and improve the performance of agents
• Support agents in lead generation and closing sales
• Conduct regular field visits and team meetings
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines

Essential Skillset

• Strong experience in agency sales / direct sales
• Proven track record of target achievement and incentive earning
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
• Ability to recruit and manage a sales team
• Strong understanding of local market dynamics

Qualifications

• Graduate (Mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year in sales (preferably in agency sales / insurance / BFSI)
• Must have achieved minimum 25% incentives of fixed salary in the last 6 months
