About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and performance-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead business development initiatives and drive revenue growth across the assigned region. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in freight forwarding and logistics sales, with strong expertise in air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain solutions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic client relationships, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the company’s regional expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and industry connections.
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across key industry verticals.
  • Acquire new customers and expand business with existing clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with key customers and business partners.
  • Understand customer logistics requirements and provide customized freight and supply chain solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service support.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling logistics services.

Sales Presentations & Commercial Negotiation

  • Conduct professional presentations and client meetings to promote logistics solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, pricing structures, and service agreements.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and successfully close business deals.
  • Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to deliver competitive and profitable
    solutions.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and market
    opportunities.
  • Share business insights and customer feedback with internal stakeholders.
  • Support management in strategic business expansion and market penetration
    initiatives.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities
    in CRM systems.
  • Track sales performance, forecasts, KPIs, and revenue achievements.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and management updates.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, and supply chain
    operations.
  • Expertise in air freight, sea freight, customs brokerage, transportation, and
    warehousing services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve aggressive sales targets.
  • Good analytical, strategic planning, and market research skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • 10–15 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong customer network within logistics, shipping, and supply chain industries.
  • Experience in handling regional sales operations and strategic business development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management,
    or related field preferred.
