About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Agency Network Manager (Regional) to strengthen and expand our agency and partner network across strategic markets, with a strong focus on the Indian region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for agency acquisition, network development, pricing coordination, business generation, relationship management, and payment follow-ups.
This role requires strong industry knowledge in freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to build long-term partnerships that contribute to business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Agency Acquisition & Network Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable agency and network partners across key
    markets and trade lanes.
  • Conduct operational and financial due diligence for prospective agents.
  • Negotiate and finalize Agency Agreements and Credit Agreements.
  • Develop region-wise and sector-wise agency mapping strategies to strengthen
    network capabilities.
  • Expand and optimize regional agency partnerships for long-term business growth.

Business Development & Revenue Generation

  • Generate new business opportunities through global and regional agency networks.
  • Coordinate with network partners to obtain competitive pricing for customer
    inquiries.
  • Follow up on inquiries, negotiate rates, and convert opportunities into confirmed
    business.
  • Participate in logistics and network conferences to build strategic relationships and
    maximize business opportunities.

Agent Relationship & Performance Management

  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with agency partners.
  • Monitor agent performance, inquiry conversion ratios, and service quality standards.
  • Support internal teams in agency communication, onboarding, and coordination
    activities.
  • Identify low-conversion areas and implement corrective action plans.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Coordination

  • Stay updated on market trends, trade movements, competitor activities, and industry
    regulations.
  • Share market insights and business opportunities with sales and management teams.
  • Support strategic planning and regional business expansion initiatives.

Payment Collection & Commercial Coordination

  • Ensure timely payment collections within agreed credit terms.
  • Monitor receivables and maintain healthy cash flow management.
  • Handle operational and commercial escalations related to agency business and ensure
    timely resolution.

Reporting & Database Management

  • Maintain and update a comprehensive agency and partner database.
  • Track inquiry status, business conversions, revenue contribution, and operational
    performance metrics.
  • Prepare periodic reports, MIS, and performance analysis for management review.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, and international trade
    operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and networking capabilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.
  • Good knowledge of international markets and agency network operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • 5–10 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or agency network
    management.
  • Proven experience in agency development and business generation.
  • Strong industry exposure and professional network.
  • Experience handling international agents and regional trade lanes preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,
    or related field preferred.
