Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth through the agency channel (APC). The ideal candidate should have strong experience in sales, a proven track record of performance, and the ability to generate business through direct sourcing and agent networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth through agency channel (APC model)
- Recruit, train, and manage agents/advisors to achieve sales targets
- Generate leads through direct sourcing and field activities
- Support agents in closing deals and improving performance Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with company policies and processes
Essential Skillset
- Strong experience in agency sales / business development
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to achieve targets and earn incentives
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Self-motivated and result-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Graduate (Preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales (No freshers)
- Must have earned minimum 25% of fixed salary as incentives in the last 6 months
- Experience in agency sales / BFSI / insurance is highly preferred
