Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead – Automation Testing to drive automation strategy, lead QA initiatives, and ensure high-quality delivery across web and mobile applications. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in automation testing frameworks, along with leadership capabilities to manage teams, clients, and multiple projects effectively. The ideal candidate should have experience working on ERP product-based applications and be capable of designing scalable automation frameworks while collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Strategy & Framework Development Own and manage the end-to-end automation testing strategy for web and mobile applications. Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable test suites. Ensure maximum test coverage through automation for regression, functional, and integration testing. Continuously enhance automation processes to improve testing efficiency and product quality.

Mobile & Application Testing Lead mobile application testing and automation for Android and/or iOS platforms. Ensure application quality across different devices, platforms, and environments. Conduct manual testing when required to complement automation coverage.

Project & Client Management Manage multiple projects simultaneously, defining automation scope, priorities, and timelines. Act as the primary QA point of contact for clients, managing quality discussions, updates, and release readiness. Review automation scripts, test execution reports, and defect metrics to ensure quality benchmarks.

Collaboration & Continuous Integration Work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases. ntegrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable automated execution. Perform defect root cause analysis and implement improvements in testing processes.

Team Leadership & Quality Governance Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team with a strong focus on automation maturity and quality standards. Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and enforce best practices. Ensure adherence to QA documentation standards, testing processes, and compliance guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with strong hands-on automation expertise.
• Extensive experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Proven experience in mobile application testing and automation.
• Strong experience in API testing and automation (Postman / REST APIs).
• Good working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results without constant supervision.
• Strong client communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on ERP product-based applications.
• Exposure to Education domain systems such as ERP, CRM, LMS, Student Management, or Admissions platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Basic knowledge of security testing concepts.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
