We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead the VRM Inbound Channel for our life insurance vertical based in Cochin. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in life insurance sales (telesales/VRM/bancassurance) and be capable of leading a high-performing virtual sales team to achieve revenue and persistency targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the VRM inbound life insurance channel to achieve sales and revenue goals.
- Drive Life Insurance sales through a team of Virtual Relationship Managers handling inbound customer leads.
- Strategize and execute plans to improve conversion rates, persistency, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor KPIs such as product mix, premium growth, and productivity.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate VRM sales teams for consistent results.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate with bank VRM teams and internal departments to ensure smooth customer servicing.
- Prepare and present performance reports, business updates, and target achievement dashboards.
- Identify areas for improvement and adopt best practices for operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Education: Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 4 to 8 years in life insurance sales / VRM / bancassurance.
- Location: Candidates located in or willing to relocate to Cochin, Kerala.
- Mandatory experience in life insurance sales and channel management.
- Strong understanding of VRM, telesales, and inbound banking channels.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and people-management skills.
- Ability to guide and motivate virtual sales teams effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High-energy, goal-oriented, and self-driven personality.
