WordPress Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and innovative WordPress Developer with 2–3 years of professional experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites, ensuring excellent performance, responsiveness, and robust functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with designers and project managers.
• Participate in planning and feature discussions.
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Convert Figma/PSD/Adobe XD designs into responsive sites.
• Extend existing themes and plugins.
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins & extend existing themes and plugins.
• Convert Figma/PSD/Adobe XD designs into responsive sites.
• Ensure fast-loading and high-performing websites.
• Implement caching and code optimization & Conduct site audits for improvements.
• Integrate payment gateways, CRM tools, and APIs. Develop custom functionalities using PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Diagnose and resolve website issues & Perform updates, backups, and security patches.

Required Technical Skills

• Minimum 2–3 years of WordPress development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field preferred.
• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Strong skills in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Custom theme/plugin development expertise.
• Knowledge of WordPress database, hooks, filters, REST API.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Basic SEO knowledge.
• cPanel and hosting management.
• Understanding of accessibility standards.
• Knowledge of analytics tools.
